Begonia Rex ‘Escargot’
The only way to say goodbye to the Summer is to welcome the Autumn in style. As the weather cools, bring nature indoors with some Autumnal indoor plants. Houseplants with red-tinged leaves look seasonal and stylish, and often have interesting patterns or textures.
Begonia Rex plants are beautiful, with their sculpted, curled, red-tinged leaves that make a statement in any indoor environment. “Escargot”, French for snail, describes their spiralling form well. They are particularly suited to a bedroom, where a bright but shaded spot will keep the leaves’ colours fresh and clear. Water your plant little and often, but mist it regularly if it’s in a warm room.
