public and trade shows across the country. From time to time the Association also promotes cut flowers and plants at other selected events.

RHS Wisley Flower Show
Friday 11 – Sunday 13 September
The new-look flower show will feature a village style layout weaving towards the Glasshouse, plus new displays by NAFAS (National Association of Flower Arranging Societies). Top quality nurseries will be selling firm favourites such as late summer herbaceous plants, agapanthus, hostas, heucheras, roses, clematis, bonsai, ferns, herbs and late summer interest trees and shrubs.
Free with normal garden entry.

BFA Young Florist of the Year Qualifying Heat - Add to Diary (Click open not Save)
22–23 July
The British Florist Association is proud to announce the return of the bi-annual BFA Young Florist of the Year Competition. The overall winner of the UK heats will compete with all the other european finalists in the 'Eurofleurs 2010'.
The semi final will be held in the competition arena of the BFA Marquee at the RHS Tatton Park Flower Show.

Take this chance to see inspirational floral installations from twenty top London wedding florists and watch wedding flowers mini-demos and chat to the designers.
* Judith Blacklock - Garden of Eden Demonstration
30 May
Judith Blacklock will be giving a demonstration, entitled ‘Garden of Eden’, to an audience of 2,000 at Westminster Abbey Central Hall. The demonstration will be broadcast live on Christian Premier Radio. The Flowers & Plants Association will be sponsoring all the flowers for the event.

19–23 May 2009
Cutting-edge garden design and thousands of perfect blooms; top growers and world class designers; scents and sights and shopping galore. Chelsea will be crammed with leading lights, big name designers and the spectacle you'd expect at the world’s greatest gardening event.
